Rolex unveiled nine new watch designs for 2023, including a special-edition Cosmograph Daytona.
The iconic Swiss brand introduced new colors, materials, and movements across seven of its mainstay lines.
It even launched an all-new model, the 1908, a callback to the year the company got its name.

Powering the new line will be the all-new Calibre 4131, a movement that Rolex unveiled this year.
"It's hard to improve perfection, so no surprise here," Bob's Watches CEO Paul Altieri told Insider. "I love the steel rimmed bezel."

Pricing details are still to come, but a similar platinum variant with an ice-blue dial honoring the 50th anniversary fetches a whopping $77,000 at retail, and is worth $121,000 on the secondary market.

Originally designed as a pilot's watch, the Sky Dweller features two time zones.

Powered by the new Calibre 9002 movement, the timepiece features an annual calendar that differentiates between 30- and 31-day months.
Local time is displayed via the conventional hands while a smaller, off-center disk displays a reference time in a 24-hour format.
Another variant of the Rolex Day-Date 36 features a colorful face inspired by a jigsaw puzzle. Each color puzzle piece represents a different "key moment" of life according to Rolex.

When the watch strikes 12 o'clock, an arc-shaped label at the top of the face displays an inspirational word - be it Happy, Eternity, Gratitude, Peace, Faith, Love, or Hope.

At 3 o'clock, the watch displays one of 31 emojis instead of the date of the month.

This year's Oyster Perpetual features a brand new motif called "Celebration" featuring candy pink, yellow, coral red, green, and turquoise blue bubbles rimmed in black.

“Fun watch,” Altieri said. “There might be a 25-year waiting list on this one.”

The all-new 1908 is the first of Rolex’s Perpetual collection, and takes its name from the year Hans Wildorf gave the company its name.

The elegantly simple design features a leather band and Arabic numerals at three, nine, and 12, with a seconds sundial at 6 o'clock.
The double-edged sword-shaped minute hand complements a small circle on the hour hand.
"The Rolex Yacht-Master 42 Is the showstopper… Wow!" Altieri said. "Sleek, monochromatic, and lightweight."

For the first time, the Yacht-Master is available in titanium with a technical satin finish that has a visible grain.

Rolex says the material’s high strength makes it particularly challenging to work with, and required new production techniques.
With demand for new Rolex watches still at a feverish high, years-long waiting lists mean you probably won't see one of these new designs available to buy in a store.
