Accountex partners with Mental Health UK charity for London show

Accountex London are excited to announce that Mental Health UK are their official charity partner for the 2023 event. Mental health and wellbeing are top of the agenda at this year’s show, and the partnership will allow for visitors to speak to the Mental Health UK team in person, have their questions answered and find the right support.  

Mental Health UK have been supporting people with their mental health for over 50 years. They provide support and services for some of the biggest societal challenges that pose a threat to people’s mental health, including money problems, navigating through the system to get the right support, understanding mental health, loneliness and isolation, and resilience in young people.  

“We’re thrilled to have partnered with Mental Health UK for Accountex London. With the cost-of-living crisis and recession affecting everyone, it’s more important than ever that we look after our mental health.” Said Portfolio Director, Caroline Hobden. “Accountex will be a safe space for people to gain insight and find the right resources to support themselves, their loved ones, and their colleagues.” 

On Wednesday 10 May at 3-3.45pm, Claire Neal, Head of Workplace Mental Health at Mental Health UK will be taking over the People, Talent, Culture and Wellbeing Theatre, for the session: ‘Looking after your mental health at work‘. The presentation will focus on the role that businesses can play to provide psychological stability to employees during turbulent times, and how employees can take steps to ensure they stay well at work and avoid burnout. 

Visitors can also meet the Mental Health UK team at stand 900, where they will be sharing resources and education on a wide variety of topics.
