Your wellbeing matters: Introducing the Accountex London Wellness Retreat 

Accountex London and the first-ever co-located FD Show are around the corner on 13-14 May 2026 at Excel. 

Alongside the packed CPD-accredited education programme and 300+ exhibitors to explore, the Wellness Retreat is back for a second year on Stand 270. 

This dedicated area is your breathing space at the show. Whether you’re a practice owner carrying the weight of the busy season, a bookkeeper navigating the pressures of client demands, or a finance leader trying to improve strategic decision-making, this is your place to pause and reset. 

New mental health partner

We’re delighted to announce that Kirsty Birch, founder of the Human Return Index, is joining Accountex London 2026 as our official mental health partner.

Kirsty is a workplace wellbeing and mental health expert who specialises in helping individuals, teams, and organisations understand the real human cost of stress, burnout, and disengagement, and what to do about it. Her approach is straight-talking, evidence-informed, and genuinely practical.

Inside the Wellness Retreat igloo, Kirsty will be delivering a series of powerful sessions designed for employees, leaders, and business owners. These aren’t surface-level talks, they go to the heart of what’s really going on in our workplaces and what that means for performance, culture, and results. 

Balancing the books and your mind 

“You can be brilliant at the numbers and still feel calm doing it.” That’s the philosophy behind The Mindful Accountant, led by Heather Arnold FCCA, and it’s a message the accounting profession needs to hear more than ever.

Over the two days, Heather will be running mindfulness sessions inside the igloo, offering short, guided moments of calm specifically designed for accountants and finance professionals. Mindfulness isn’t about switching off, it’s about tuning in. Learning to quiet the mental noise, manage overwhelm in the moment, and return to your work with renewed focus and clarity.

The Community Massage Project returns for the second year

The Community Massage Project therapists will be on hand at the show with 10-minute head, shoulder and neck massages for a nominal fee of your choosing. Every penny raised goes directly towards gifting massages to volunteers, hospice workers, carers, and the families of those receiving hospice care.
