An entitled passenger went haywire earlier this week after an airline refused to bend the rules for her and her cats.

As The Daily Mail reported, an Alaska Airlines customer went off on the plane’s staff after they would not allow her to let her stuff her two cats underneath her plane seat. The incident earned her the nickname “Two Cats Karen.”

Alexandra Compton, a Portland native who lives in Las Vegas, was caught on video verbally abusing airline workers as they calmly yet firmly explained their policy on pets and refused to make an exception for her.

“Show me the policy, then, before I booked the flight, that said that I had to have a certain weight of cat to go under the seat,” Compton whined.

The Daily Mail notes that Alaska Airlines’ policy suggests that “up to two pets of the same species and similar size may travel in the same carrier,” provided “no body parts protrude from the carrier and the animals are not in distress.”

Given the size of Compton’s cats, the staff felt that allowing her to get her way would potentially harm the animals.

“Why are you the one to decide that I can’t take my cat on the plane right now?!” Compton yelled.

“This bag is quite compatible. It goes on the plane, it fits on the plane. That’s why I bought this bag, specifically, so that I could fly home for Christmas,” she added. “And you’re not telling me I’m not going home for Christmas, because you don’t like that I have two cats.”

The staffer calmly told Compton that yelling would help her, yet she continued to argue loudly.

“I’m not yelling,” she fired back. “You’re telling me I can’t go home for Christmas right now.”

“You understand that? Do you understand that? I am about to start crying.”

The staffer held firm, however, telling Compton that she cannot dictate company policy. This caused her to go into a frenzy again.

“Why are you ruining Christmas right now?!” She bellowed. “Your company doesn’t decide if my cats are comfortable or not.”

The video concluded with the staffer informing Compton that she would have to pay for two separate carriers, as her animals could not be transported together in the same one.

Compton responded to the viral incident on Monday. She maintained that she had done nothing wrong and would receive a refund.

“I’m viral! Here’s the info from the Alaska website- I did exactly as I always do while traveling with my cats,” she wrote. “And I was at the counter to pay for them, like I always do. Alaska just wanted me to pay for a second seat, yeah, no.”

“But I’m home with my cats. Refund on its way.”
