Peacock is the subscription streaming home for NBCUniversal movies and shows, making it the only place to stream original series like "Dr. Death" and classic sitcoms like "The Office."

A free version is available with a limited selection of programs, and you can pay for a premium plan to unlock everything. Ad-supported Peacock Premium costs $5 a month, and an ad-free Peacock Premium Plus plan costs $10 a month.

Subscribers can watch popular shows like "Queer as Folk " and seasons one through four of "Yellowstone," as well as blockbuster movies like "Jurassic World: Dominion." On January 26, Peacock will debut a new exclusive series called "Poker Face," which comes from the director of "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery" and stars Natasha Lyonne.

Peacock is a streaming service created by NBCUniversal with three subscription plans: Free, Premium, and Premium Plus. The platform offers a collection of shows, movies, and original series, along with live sports and news.

Content can be viewed via an on-demand library or via special streaming channels broken down by genres and franchises.

Peacock's catalog includes a mix of Universal films and NBC shows, like "The Office," "Quantum Leap," and "Saturday Night Live." Peacock original series and movies are also included for premium subscribers.

Peacock's streaming app is available on Vizio, Samsung, and LG smart TVs, as well as iOS and Android mobile devices, Roku, Android TV, Fire TV, Xbox One, PlayStation, Chromecast, Xfinity, and Flex devices.

Is Peacock free?

The base version of Peacock is free, but there are commercials and the selection is limited. Peacock offers around 10,000 hours worth of movies and TV with its free version, but you can get access to a lot more by upgrading to a Peacock Premium plan.

How much does Peacock Premium cost?

Peacock Premium costs $5 a month or $50 a year. However, Peacock Premium still has commercials. If you want to watch without ads, you need to upgrade to the Peacock Premium Plus plan for $10 a month or $100 a year.

The Peacock Premium catalog includes new original series, exclusive content from NBC shows and WWE Network, live sports like Sunday Night Football, and next-day streaming support for many NBC shows currently airing on TV.

If you already subscribe to Xfinity internet or cable you get Peacock Premium for free with your current subscription.

Peacock features more than 80,000 hours worth of TV and movies, though you'll need a Premium subscription to access the full catalog. NBCUniversal says around 10,000 hours worth of content is available for free.

You can stream classic shows like "The Office," "Law & Order," and "Parks & Recreation." Peacock Premium users can access new episodes of ongoing NBC shows the day after they air. Daily broadcasts from NBC News and MSNBC also stream on Peacock, and new episodes of "Days of Our Lives" stream daily.
