A new high-end golf club and resort is coming to South Florida and it'll be the first private course constructed in the Miami area in 25 years. But, it'll reportedly cost you a whopping $1 million membership fee to join.
The Shell Bay Club announced in a press release this week the opening of its 7,254-yard private championship golf course in Hallandale Beach, Florida, just north of Miami.
Curated by Witkoff Group and PPG Development, the luxury club will cost you a staggering $1 million membership fee, CNN reported. A PR representative for the club did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.
Residences in the condominium tower, which is set to open next year, will begin at $3 million and penthouses at $11 million, a PR representative told CNN.
In addition to the championship course, the club will feature a private fitness center complete with a basketball court and batting cages, four Grand Slam tennis courts, pickleball courts, event spaces, and several dining options, the press release states.
It will also have a 14,000-square-foot rooftop pool area, and a luxury resort with 60 guest rooms and suites, which is set to open in 2025 on the 150-acre property, according to Auberge Resorts' website.
