The View co-host Sunny Hostin has suggested that America should give Venezuelan narco-terrorists “refuge” in the United States before putting them on trial.
During an appearance on Tuesday’s version of the ABC Show, Hostin repeated the claim put out by many excited Democrats that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth committed a war crime when he eliminated drug traffickers from Venezuela.
Hostin, who unbelievably once worked as a federal prosecutor, explained:
I can’t speak to the law of it. I don’t know, you know, I’m not a geopolitical expert.
But in terms of the law of it, you’re right, Sarah, that is why those Army vets explained, do not follow, you do not have to follow illegal orders. You know why?
Because if this is deemed to have been war crimes, which by all accounts right now, there are seven sources that said Pete Hegseth did say kill them all, even after there were two survivors.
What you’re supposed to do under international law, you are supposed to take those fighters as war criminals, prisoners of war, and you’re supposed to give them refuge and you’re supposed to take care of them.
And then you are supposed to put them into a court of law.

Needless to say, putting them on trial would mean that taxpayers would shoulder the cost of keeping them in prison for the rest of their sorry lives.
Her comments come as the Trump administration continues to launch targeted airstrikes against Venezuelan drug boats in the Caribbean Sea, amid growing speculation that he is also planning to remove Nicolas Maduro’s socialist regime from power.

Hostin, meanwhile, is notorious for her absurd political rhetoric.
Before Trump’s inauguration back in January, Hostin compared the January 6th protests to slavery and the Holocaust.
“I say no, you don’t move on, because January 6th was an atrocity. It was one of the worst moments in American history,” she ranted at the time.
“And when you think about the worst moments in American history, you know, like World War II, things that happened, you know, like the Holocaust, chattel slavery, we need to never forget.
“Because past becomes prologue if you forget and erase.”
