High-producing South Carolina team joins REMAX

After 12 years in real estate and three years leading The McNulty Team under the Coldwell Banker brand, Shannon McNulty has opened her own brokerage — REMAX Reliable Realty — in Blythewood, South Carolina.

Her team will join her under the new office, which will also recruit individual agents.

“One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that communication is absolutely vital in real estate,” McNulty said. “It’s the glue that holds the entire process together, and it needs to be both professional and reliable. A military veteran, McNulty said reliability and clear communication have shaped both her service approach and her leadership style.

Her decision to affiliate with REMAX followed conversations with Laura Reid — broker-owner of REMAX Purpose Driven in Lexington, South Carolina — during a broker mastermind group.

“When Laura walked me through everything REMAX offers, it lined up exactly with what I knew I needed,” McNulty said. “There’s a real fear about going out on your own because there are so many moving pieces, and you want to be sure you’re handling each one well.

The McNulty Team recorded $17.3 million in volume across 66 transactions — good for a No. 49 ranking in sides in South Carolina, according to most recent RealTrends Verified rankings.

McNulty moved up from agent to team leader in her previous office and has ranked among the top 100 agents in the greater Columbia, South Carolina, area for the past six years, REMAX said.

As broker-owner, McNulty said she plans to focus on growth while maintaining what she describes as “diligent, reliable integrity.”
