Idaho’s Intermountain MLS taps tech-focused CEO

Intermountain MLS — the largest multiple listing service in Idaho — has appointed Richard Gibbens as CEO, effective March 30.

Gibbens most recently served as CEO of Kentucky-based Bluegrass Realtors, where he led modernization efforts, expanded broker collaboration and advanced data and technology initiatives.

Before that, he was executive director of Southwest MLS at the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors, where he helped align association and MLS operations and strengthen data governance standards.

Gibbens holds a Master of Business Administration degree and has earned the Realtor Certified Executive as well as Certified MLS Executive Level 3 and Real Estate Data Benchmark designations.

He is a frequent speaker at national and regional industry events — addressing topics including MLS evolution, data standards, broker partnerships and the role of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

The executive search was conducted by a search committee and facilitated by WAV Group.
