Seattle-based mega team joins Real from Compass

The Real Brokerage announced that Seattle-based real estate leader Sean McConnell and his team The McConnell Group have joined the company — adding 34 agents and expanding Real’s footprint in the greater Seattle area.

Founded in 2017 by Sean McConnell and his wife, Nicolette McConnell, The McConnell Group previously operated as NK Team and rebranded in conjunction with its move to Real.

The group had been affiliated with Compass, where it ranked as the brokerage’s top-producing team in Seattle.

The team has also been recognized by RealTrends Verified, ranking as Seattle’s top-selling large team for three consecutive years from 2021 to 2023 and as the No. 4 mega team nationwide in 2024.

Over the past eight years, the group has averaged more than $230 million in annual sales volume — completing more than 1,700 transactions totaling approximately $1.4 billion.

Sean McConnell said the decision to change brokerages followed a review of long-term goals.

McConnell’s agents are provided with contract and listing coordination, vendor management, in-house marketing and access to a dedicated videographer — allowing them to focus on production while developing individual brands within the team.
