Introducing Alex, an industry thought-leader. Alex is the CEO and Founder of multi award winning digital growth business, Soaring Falcon. They set up businesses online and eliminate most of the processing and typical pain points, while specialising in SaaS and UK Set Up’s. She is also a speaker, ACCA International Assembly Member, Xero’s MVP and APPG Advisor.

How did you get into your profession?

When I was 16, I decided to volunteer at an accounting firm because I was curious about how business works and making money. Well, the rest, as they say, is history.

What do you love most about what you do? 

I absolutely love the vibe of the people I work alongside. I deal with a particular group of clients who are super passionate about what they do. Their enthusiasm fuels my own, and it’s incredibly fulfilling to know I’ve played a role in their journey. It’s a truly rewarding experience.

What’s your biggest achievement?

Starting my own business and paving the way I’ve always envisioned – it’s about having the freedom to work and travel while enjoying a deeply fulfilling lifestyle.

What do you see as key trends for the sector in the coming year?  

Some big things I see coming up in the next year are more people in the industry embracing the nomadic workstyle, just like I do. There’s also a growing trend towards international collaborations to boost business growth.

How important is Accountex to you and the sector? 

For me, attending Accountex is absolutely essential. It’s a fantastic opportunity to network, collaborate, share insights, hear real-life stories from peers, catch up with friends, and, of course, awesome swag to take home!
