- Haley said Trump was "confused again" after he appeared to get the Indiana ballot deadline wrong.

- She has homed in on questioning his cognitive abilities and his advanced age.
Nikki Haley took another jab at former President Donald Trump's cognitive abilities after he appeared to mix up the Indiana ballot deadline.
"Looks like he's confused again…" the Republican presidential candidate wrote on X in response to a Trump social post in which he said she was "scrambling" to qualify for the ballot three days after the deadline.
However, the last day to file for Indiana's primary election is February 9, according to the state's Secretary of State, Diego Morales.
Trump was likely referring to the final day for Democratic and Republican presidential candidates to submit petition signatures to county voter registration officials to certify their candidacy on January 30.
Haley's campaign says they have submitted twice the number of petition signatures required by the state of Indiana.
"We turned in more than double all the signatures required, and they are being verified now as part of the process before the filing deadline on February 9," a spokesperson for the Haley campaign told Politico.
Haley, the final remaining Republican challenger to Trump, has been ramping up attacks on his age and mental abilities.
The former UN Ambassador has shifted strategy in her latest campaign ads by lumping President Joe Biden and Trump together as "Grump Old Men."
The new messaging presents Haley as a fresh option compared to the 81- and 77-year-old rivals, who look set for a rematch in the upcoming presidential election.
"They are automatically going to be in mental decline. That's just a fact," Haley told CNN's Jake Tapper.
Haley has started sharpening her tone against Trump ahead of the upcoming primary in her home state, South Carolina.
She recently questioned whether Trump is "mentally fit" for office after he appeared to confuse her with former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in a rally speech.
Trump has defended himself against questions about his cognitive abilities — repeatedly claiming he has "aced" a cognitive test and suggesting that some of his gaffes are on purpose.
