Last month, we got it right in our forecast that April could see a temporary relief in the stock market and gold pushed higher. We also forecast that China could see a rebound in economic activities based on its energy consumption. China reported a GDP growth of +4.5% in Q1.
May could see attention return to the financial system as the real estate bubble becomes a concern across several countries. US could see pressure pile up on the CRE market and banks could face vulnerability as deposits continue to flee the banking system.
