“The best businesses to buy in 2026.”
Anytime someone makes a list like that, I pay attention.
So I watched this take… and here’s my reaction.
Yes, certain industries are positioned well for 2026. Essential services. Recurring revenue businesses. Asset-light models. Businesses with strong margins and predictable cash flow.
But here is what most lists miss.
There is no universally “best” business to buy. The best acquisition depends on deal structure, price, financing terms, transition risk, and operator fit. A great industry does not save a bad deal. And a boring industry can produce extraordinary returns if structured properly.
In this video, I break down what I agree with, where I think buyers get distracted by trends, and how I evaluate opportunities in accounting firms, service businesses, and recession-resistant industries heading into 2026.
My take? Focus less on hot sectors and more on durable cash flow, seller motivation, and smart leverage. The margin is made in the structure, not the headline industry.
